  • Right in the middle, looking a lot like my brother Chris. Found the photo while clearing out the basement. [Kevin]

  • Beautiful day to travel along I-81 toward Syracuse for 1st class of fall semester.

  • Visited our friends Mary and Majid for dinner this weekend. They live out past Pottstown, and Majid raises Arabian horses (shown). Very beautiful. Dinner was great, too.

  • It’s the 8th grade dance, and Kelly went with his friends Mike and David, and these two young ladies (Madison, left, and I apologize for forgetting the other’s name). All went well, though apparently Mike now has a girlfriend. How will this affect the boys? Stay tuned …

  • It’s a 3-pointer, made in a bad loss to North Penn, 73-47. He got in because the game was out of hand and played 6 minutes. Made another 3, for 6 points total. He may get some more varsity minutes tomorrow (Wednesday).

  • Oh, that’s Pete Donahue. Ol’ No. 14 is listed among the players on Methacton’s varsity roster—he even got into tonight’s game (we’ll gloss over the fact it was a 20-point spanking at the hands of Spring-Ford). • Kelly left the cozy confines of his room on the fifth floor of CHOP and was photographed by a hunter, who said it appeared the rampaging teenager was foraging for food. Forensic investigators say they found scraps of chicken fingers and New England Clam Chowder. Sounds about right. And much of it wasn’t eaten, which…

  • My brother’s eulogy

Chris did a great job Thursday morning with the eulogy during the funeral mass for my father at St. Benedict Catholic Church, in Holmdel. Here are his prepared notes. He strayed a bit from this text, but you get the idea. First, I would like to thank everyone for coming and for the well wishes,…
