OK, it wasn’t quite Christmas – it was the weekend before – but we were together with the Kirks and Plaines and attended a Christmas concert of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (see photo). It was very god, though we all agreed this year’s host wasn’t as good as Sandy Patty, the previous year’s host.
Susan made us a great dinner and we exchanged gifts, mostly the kids, that is, though Virginia snuck in gifts for Mary and Susan. She’s sneaky that way.
The trip also featured an appearance by Aunt Doris, visiting from Ohio.
