Tour de France leader Alberto Contador (in yellow) and the Schleck Brothers power up the last mountain climb in Stage 17. The brothers moved into 2nd and 3rd places in the race, ahead of Lance Armstrong, who will try to make up ground in Thursday’s Stage 18 time trial. It’s been an interesting race, mostly because Armstrong’s presence added intrigue to Team Astana. Also, Contador has made several questionable decisions, where he’s attacked in situations where he would have been better served to sit and wait. Armstrong’s pretty frustrated, and now he’ll be lucky to get on the podium (top-3 finish) on Sunday.
