We got off easy—kept power throughout the storm, which dropped a hellacious amount of water but never really blew up into a really vicious hurricane (2nd photo is our Sunday paper, which arrived by 10 am). Virginia’s cousin Mary is still without power in Baltimore on Friday, six days after the storm passed. Sheesh!
Last photo is the view from our back deck at about 4:30 pm Sunday, when skies cleared and the breeze blew fresh as fall.
