We visited for two days with our friends Dan and Maryann, who vacation each summer with their friends Priscilla and John Frece, at Bethany Beach, Del. They were just across the street from the beach (awesome) and there were a bunch of 20something young people—John and Priscilla’s son and daughter, a friend and a boyfriend—to keep up the energy.

The 2 days were full of sun and heat, Scrabble, a lot of laughs, the chance to catch up, and the dirtiest movie any of us had ever seen (The Aristocrats—thanks, Dan! Kelly’s scarred for life now). But I got even with Dan and Maryann the next morning by rising at 7 am and exercising right above their heads, on the house’s deck. Boy, were they mad!
