Kelly is headed off to summer camp in upstate NY. Our friends the Kahns drove him and his friend Alex up today. They are going to the Thousand Islands first, then will return to the Unirondack camp, outside Lowville, NY. We’ll share photos when he returns.

We’ve been wanting to see “Ratatouille” for a long time, and it proved very worthwhile. So good, in fact, that Peter said it was the best movie he’s ever seen. Who would have thought?!? The boys saw Up, but Virginia and I haven’t. Catching one Pixar movie makes you want to see the next.

Chef Peter, originally uploaded by kevdonahue. He made dinner for the family as part of a school class. Nicely done, though he didn’t think much about setting up the table. Excellent job on the green beans! We’ll get him to post his recipes sometime.

I asked Kelly to take the video camera and ask everybody to tell him a story about their mother. Next time I’ll tell him to do it someplace quiet. All in all, a very good first effort.
